WHO WE ARE
Graduated in visual arts at the European Institute of Design in Milan, Filippo Bosi has gained ten years of experience in the field of visual communication and design.
He chose to move to Colico, to be inspired by an authentic relationship with nature, between the waters of Lake Como and the woods of Valtellina, and there he founded Atelier Nero, a true workshop of artisan excellence, where restoration, carpentry and antique research projects come to life. At Atelier Nero, a great passion for art combines with an extreme refinement of materials to give a new soul to antique furniture and objects of the past.
In 2018 he took over Officine Retica, an already established and well-known brand in the Alpine furniture sector. Transformations are the order of the day, designing and building new furniture are the only two rules of the day, there are no impossible goals but only difficult goals that can be achieved with commitment and dedication.
“… The aesthetic function is much more than a simple ornament on the surface of things and the world, as is sometimes thought. It acts profoundly on the life of society and the individual, it contributes to guiding the relationship – both passive and active – of the individual and society with the reality that surrounds them” Jan Mukarovský
